A film rep came by the other day and was bragging about their pre-cut, pre-shrunk auto films. Has anybody tried this, and if so did it save you a significant amount of time?

Always wondered how you can ship a big 1 peice back window already shrunk without creasing it  :shock

Rolled up in a tint-tube along with the remaining patterns.

Anyone who reverse rolls film does this daily.

:welcome

preshrunk huh? :welcome I think I'll be installing my own shrunk film. I'm not trusting what someone else consideres "shrunk" and putting it on a car with my name on it.

What if they shrunk it with a Porter Cable Heatgun and gave you 1/2" vinyl tape to make a border on the outside to hide any light gaps?

I already know which film company it is. Starts with an M and ends with an O.

Time to (Move On) and stop selling stuff to amateur tinters and have them give us a bad rep.

Although I did think about buying some VW Beetle pre-shrunk film so I can save myself some time. :rollin
