Lumar vs. Scotchtint

Hi folks,

Well, I?m new to this forum and I hope I can get a bit of information. Years ago I was in the biz and I used 3M scotchtint. Currently I have a vehicle that I need to tint but the installers in my area are using Llumar products. The question is, what?s the difference between to two. Is one better than the other. I?m willing to travel to the 3M product if need be or just break down and do the job myself if I can find the 3M product. As you can guess, no luck finding a place where I can buy the 3M stuff here in WA.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

I have been using 3m for the last 16 years in my 18 years in the tinting buiz. I like 3M even though it is a little more money. 3M has had its share of problems in the past, as has every other brand out there.

The only time I used Llumar was when I started tinting. Back then they had some problems. I am guessing that they have solved those problems by now. Dunno? :thumb
