Drop reverse

For those times it is necessary to weigh down the film roll for drop reverse or reverse drop or california roll, I've always used a cut down broom stick or PVC pipe. Trouble with this is the ding or damage or noise it can cause depending of height from the floor.

Solution is to encase it in pipe foam insulation.

Edit: You may find it necessary to run some tape or PPF along the seam of the insulation so it doesn't slip open over time.

Dam what a buzz kill, I really thought I had something there. :evileye

Yeah, most of the time it isn't needed except when you find the adhesive has tried to bond to the liner.

:lol ...No TOTW medal for you...... :spit

When I do back roll film.and that would be without a stick or PVC pipe.

I will unroll the film a ft or more and spray it with a mist of my application mixture, and roll it back up small.and some times on taller windows,or if it is a small work space.I will spray the ends of the rolled up film so it will help keep the film trying to unroll before it gets to the bottum.

I hear what you are saying on the liner sticking.there is one thing missing on my film now.and it was between the liner and the PS adhesive for me.

Hey Mike, punctuation lesson of the day:

EXAMPLE -> Usually there is a space after a punctuation mark.this is not proper.

Usually there is a space after a punctuation mark. This is proper.

A new sentence starts with a capital letter and you never start a new sentence with "and".

I'm not trying to bust your balls or be a jerk, it's just hard to read your posts.
