I never use rapid tack in my slip solution, thats more of a vinyl installers product.

and I too have the vote that painting/vinyling the dots looks like hell. Learn the blue glue method and you'll never look back.

glue method works great. been using it for over 5 yrs. but the way its done sometime may not help . ITS all in the technique.

the active ingredient in rapid tack which helps the film to stick to the matrix is just rubbing alcohol. You can make your own solution of 25% alcy/75% water and do the same thing. Peel it back, spray it, wait 20 secs and squeegee it out.

I would not advise using anything with alcohol in it if you are using SunTek. It will turn the glue into goo.

I'll just try the glue on vehicles instead and just make sure I get as much water out as possible.

How big a bead of glue do you typically use? I cannot imagine it is very much correct?

I normally lay a 1/8 to 3/16 Bede all across depends on how much matrix is on the glass. Just like caulking a seam. be sure the matrix is perfectly dry, sometimes I heat that area up with heat gun, on the out side only so it doesn't alter the molded tint.
