Tempered glass is reheated to make it very strong, and if it breaks, it breaks into many small almost harmless pieces.

Laminated glass is two thin, untempered pieces of glass sandwiching a piece of soft plastic.

Tempered or laminated.

1. Tempered can't be cutted after it is tempered. U have to cut glass and after to temper it. It must me be special euqipment. Tempered glass brakes on small pieces (see attached picture - glass 2). Tempered may be stronger but if it brakes - it brakes all.

2. laminated. You can laminated glass with film after it is installed. that's why window films - aftermarket. There are also glasses laminated between with adhesive or special film (for example Monsanto). Two-thre glasses together. Their brake like on picture 3.

Where do you want to use tham? I can reccomend what....
