BG Distortion

My friend's Maxima has about 20% tint. For some reason the back glass is very distorted, almost like trying to look out of a layer of water or something. So bad that he's having it redone. Anyone know the cause of the? I didn't do his car but whoever did it did a good job....except for that back glass.

How old is the film? New install? What type of film? Probably either adhesive failure or a bum roll of film.

I think the full metal films distort the most, what causes this is anybody guess. the sun, the film was going through some changes at the factory they were trying new glues or a new way to put the metal on the film. seems like it's allways in between the first layer and 2nd layer. I hope your friend has his warranty if not you should be able to help him out, we see this often and really don't have the awnser everyone wants us to have.
