hey guys, we have read all the posts on this backglass...we tired all the different methods, but we are still not able to get it...it is coming back this week and we want to be able to knock it out.

These are the problems we are having

1) the entire backglass shrinks fine using mdog's method (which is the %&$#!) except for the bottom corner when have an abundance of film that will not shrink

2) had the most luck with the lift and pull but seemed to be too much stress on the film

3) thot about turning the film to where the side would shrink but then would have issues with the center not shrinking?

Haven't had this much trouble with a car in 5 years, very frustrated, but have come sooo close. Burned through half a roll of film already...any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If it did't work after 50ft, I would try another film.

Using a carbon film is easier than shrinking a hybrid film. I've done like 6 vettes in the last month or so. I did only one with a hybrid film and it kicked my ass but got done. The others were done with 3M cs and suntek carbon.

I do them all the time.must use suntek carbon or 3m cs.the 06 is actually easier compared to the newer models.

can one of you suntek carbon users pm me with your distributors name and phone number? I am not wanting to start carrying a complete new line of film but I have heard good things about the carbon lately....ty for the replies!

10-4 on the film being the problem. Trying to shrink that with something like solar gards quantum line will give you fits. I would have done a hidden seam before I wasted that much film.

I got it to go on an 06 Vette with Sun Teks HP series as well!

It seems to me that the Hp actually shrinks a little better/faster than the carbon.
