I recently got in with a heating and air company. They had a customer that was having trouble keeping the living room cool even though the termostat was in there. Problem was all the glass in the room letting in so much heat. We put a nice natural 20% film on the living room and west side of the house . They were very pleased with my work, and this week I get a call from the heating and air company. We ended up tinting their store front all their work vehicles, and now I gotta tint the owners house next week. And he will also be recomending me to future customers with heat issues in certain rooms of their home. Talk about a win win.

I had one company call me with a customer of theirs that had a kitchen with a lot of glass and the a/c unit wasn't cooling it down enough... but that's the only one.

I've thought about going after them... just one of the many things on my list.

I'm doing the same with a local Hvac company and a Solar panel company. We refer work back and forth. Nice to be able to work well with people these days. I hate it when companies try to push your service to a customer under their name, and then try to have you do the work for dirt cheap just so they can make a lot of money for just selling a job. I don't mess with companies like that, the can F$*! themselves. A simple referral relationship will benefit everybody

yea!! air conditioning guys are great for referals. I have a couple that ocationally send me work. If you can get them to really see how well window film works they will send you as much bis as they can. you are both trieng to get that house cooler, and if they are haveing trouble they call me. plus its nice to know a guy when yours goes out.

so far everything is going well with the referrals, but all they do is suggest the customers to call me not handle it themselves. However it is the middle of summer they send me a job or 2 a week. Always nice to be booked up right.
