New England and trying to figure out where to move to. If I had the work for what I do, I think Texas is getting my vote for some of the legislation and being the best poised to break ties with the fed. A little hot, but would have to take good with bad. At least I wouldn't ever have to shovel feet of snow again.

deff no shoveling snow here. I have lived in this humidity my whole life. Left Florida and went to OK for 2 years. not bad there at all. They look like there gonna pick up the AZ law there soon. they already have instant deportation there. If your not legal and get pulled over or checked for any reason, straight to Juarez . I was standing there when one got arrested one time. He kept saying he had to pee. the cop told him he better hold it till he got to the booking cuz if not he was wearing them all the way to mexico with urine on them. Thought I was gonna piss myself!!!

Yea here in Texas its a bit diff. They got the castle law here. If some one is on your property or house....you can shoot em. Just make sure you kill em, that ways there is only one side to the story. A guy just got let off for killing two guys in his yard. They were robbing the neighbors house. He called the police to report it. Told them he had a gun. The guys jumped the fence and came into his yard. BAM- Leveled em. Walked free, said he felt his life was endangered. More power to him. I have guns so I dont become a statistic. I have guns so I dont have to live in regret that I couldnt protect myself.

I cant remember where it was but an illegal was killed after shooting and killing one officer and his dog and wounding another officer. They found him in the woods and after the illegal opened fire, they found his body riddled with 68 holes in him. When the cheif was asked why he was shot that many times, without missing a beat, he said, "because we ran out of ammo." YES!!!!

You know what, Im tired of the question people always ask, "is it worth someones life?" when that person enters your home, or trys to mug you or steal your car and you shoot them dead. Who the hells knows, hes dead now so we cant ask him. If everyone used their right to protect themselves here in Texas. the crime rate would vanish. Dont try to rob someone in Texas...you will die.

And SuperSet, the guy you are talking about is Joe Horn. It happened in Pearland, TX in the middle of the day. Two illegals were shot and killed after robbing his neighbors house. If you google his name, you can hear the audio of it through the phone call he made to 911. I dont know about all, but it made me feel real good after hearing that pump action shotgun.

What about the story, I think in Colorado, where two illegals cased a house and when the father left, they broke into the house. Little did they know that the 12 y/o daughter was still home, of course they also did not notice all the trophys on the mantle for her winning shooting competitions and that she was waiting upstairs with her 12 ga. Upstairs they went and both ended up dying at the hands of a scared, skilled 12 y/o girl. After the investigation it was found that the two guys had weapons on them and that they had killed an unarmed man a few towns away. God Bless teaching kids about safe handling of firearms and the right times to use them. Proper education is much better than teaching them not to touch.

Part of me is celebrating the 2nd amendment victory, but the other part is scared when the balance is tipped away from the Constitution. I would think tht Chicago would evaluate the statistics and realize that crime increased when the guns were taken away from the law abiding citizens and only criminals had them. Gun control laws only hurt those who abide by the law and not the ones they are trying to stop. I do agree that the more people have weapons, the less crime there is. Just ask Austraillia.

There is another country that issued side arms to all adult citizens after they took the govt funded saftey course. Crime rate dropped dramatically.

Well it does make sense all the criminals end up dead or are affraid to commit crime knowing the people are well defended. I think in Israel they make everyone serve in the Military for minimum of 2 years and get trained on weapons. After that they should all be given a weapon to carry. It could work well. Think about how much money would be saved on police and courts and prisons if they funded classes and first weapon. The one reason the Japanese cited for not invading the mainland of USA is because they knew we were well amred in private citizens. The movie Red Dawn was predicated on guns being taken away and the Commies coming in and invading because we were weak.
