LOL, told my first dealer to F off yesterday

Dealer 2 blocks down the street calls, says something to the effect of "Hey, this is so and so with so and so. I'm using (insert low-baller's name here) for my tints, but I have a Charger I need to do today. They do them for (30 less than me on some cars, but a flat price for all cars), but if you can do the same I will bring you a minimum of 10 cars a month." Well, mind you they are 2 blocks down the street, deal in used high-end POS auction cars, and I see cars sit there for months on end, so I know they aren't moving a lot of cars. I pretty much tell him I'm not that interest in lowering my price and in the next few months will be raising my price for dealers another $20-30, he didn't quite know how to take it, said alright, and hung up. Called back and said can you do the car today, I apologize but I am full on cars until tuesday (I am actually). I told him that every time I tint a dealer car I am taking up space for a retail car that nets me much more than a dealer car.

I spent a lot of time In albuquerque in 2008 training tinters. Tell em there is a hack on evey corner that will gladdly do it for pennies on the dollar. I loved it there. People asked me all the time since I had been all over the US for work, if I could pick a place to live where would it be. Always replied NM. Use to stay in the Holiday in By jefferson heading north off interstate 25.Worked out at the Define fitness on Mcleod. Drink cold Fat Tire at twin Peaks.

That all of those places are over by my house, Osuna and Jefferson area.

Yea dealers are great,.......It is usually something like this... Hey we were using so and so to do ALL our cars but we are looking for someone new BLA BLA BLA. How about dropping everything and doing this schitbox for me today (cause I got a 4000.00 gross when the guy drives away in it) and after that we will give you all our work. Ua Hua.The next thing you know they are 60,90,120 days deep and you find out the other shop cut them off for non payment.... IME dealers just suk period

I like how you phrased it, with the impending price increase, coulda told him I would do it after my last appointment today, but will be an extra x$ for me to stay after hours, and I will require CASH payment at time of completion.
