I cant remember who posted this before but it really helped me out the other day on a pain in the azz r&r .....they talked about using scrap pieces of film and sticking it to the thin layers on the back glass then peeling it off after it dries taking the thin layer off with the scrap pieces...I had one that left a thin layer and the steamer was not helping at all on this film so I took some old pieces of qdp 5 and stuck to the spots where there was a thin layer left and it pulled it right off...very cool trick!! so whoever posted this tip thanks alot cause it saved me alot of time :thumb

Can you find the original thread? I'd like to go ahead and have it be a featured topic (tip of the week).
