they work on trucks all day, usually new trucks that don't have the 2 front doors done......

I did the car wash thing. Worked great, but eventually couldnt make it there anymore. I also had two collision centers that I tinted for. They paid after every job. All you need to do is, visit car washes, collision centers, mechanic shops, wheel shops, anywhere someone would bring their car to and drop off your cards. I still get referrals from the collision shop b/c my cards are still there.

hooking up with glass shops is a great way to do it. :boogie we did the stereo shop thing and the down side to that are all the punkazzes with thumpin' systems wanting illegal work. no one goes into a stereo shop and wants legal tint. :dunno

ILL GIVE THEM A TRY WHAT KIND OF GLASS SHOPS ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT FLAT GLASS?

Over the years I have teamed up with lots of businesses but the best for me have been car wash /detail shops and auto glass shops. If they got me the work and I did it at their location I paid 30% of the total. No dealing with anything but tinting the windows. The high percentage WILL keep their attention but the customers are still theirs and referrals will usually go to them. Money is money no matter who's customer they are. :thumb

you can get all the accounts you want but the problem is they all are slow at the same time and all busy at the same time . They end up calling you you have to be ready to do the job. There is a week before the end of the month that thiings are always slow . Then the first and third week when every body gets paid you go crazy . If you want something to do on down time is do an internet business. Sell some thing from China cheap and promise the world of the product.

All the above is good advice.

But when it's slow, you want work RIGHT NOW.

Never fill up your gas tank. Pick the car YOU want to tint at a gas station. Pull up by it

for gas. Strike up a conversation (hey nice car. or. dam it's hot huh?) People like

talking about their cars, so it's easy. Get 5 bucks worth of gas.

Make the offer, maybe a better price for right now or today.

If you get a no, it's ok. You're gonna need some more gas at the next station! :lol2

I can't tell you how many times I've knocked down 2 fronts on a pickup or van right

there in the gas station parking lot.
