Clear Vinyl?

I have a customer asking me for clear vinyll? I thought about clear bra but then I read what he was trying to do and knew ppf wouldnt work. He is trying to sharpie his hood with an oil base sharpie and then have the vinyl cover it so it wont wash away or fade. So if I was to apply ppf it would wash off. Does clear vinyl exist and if so who makes it and where can I get it from. Whats it called?

Thanks,

OH wait... this is what he asked me now. what u guys think?

Well my plan is: I have a spare hood (the hood is for a 1991 Toyota Cressida), im thinking of either spray painting it white, then sharpie it (oil-based paint pens) then spraying clear coat. However I was thinking that vinyl would be more cost effictive and faster. So now im thinking, of applying a white vinyl on my hood, sharpie it, then apply a clear vinyl or even just leave it alone with out a clear vinyl. My questions are:

-Can you guys apply white/clear vinyl?

-Can you supply a roll of white/clear vinyl that I can apply my self?

-Can an oil-based paint pen be applyed and stay on the white vinyl?

-Can clear vinyl be applied on top of another vinyl?

-Can clear vinyl be applied on top of an oil-based color (which I believe you said it CAN)

Thanks!

Also could I do the 3m flat white. you know... get white vinyl. let him sharpie it then press the white vinyl already sharpied with that 3m laminate to make it flat white?
