Hey guys im new at tinting! I learned alot it the past couple months. For being the new guy, I've done better work that some of the guys that have tinted longer than me at my work! I guess im a natural.

Anyways at the shop we use Llumar atr film but I got a few side jobs to do at home. Now the only film I can buy is 3M film outside of work. I used it once on to front widows on a explorer. Now im assuming it the cheapest film 3m makes, how good is it? it seemed to shrink fairly well and looks like a decent film but I have no clue what im buying at the guy who sells it is a rude and wont give me any info on it! any help is appreciated! thanks

hey...if it's got that big red logo on it...it's GOTTA be good! :boogie

thats what I was thinking but im new to tinting. I know 3M has some high end films but im pretty sure im buying the lowest

all I really need to know how much life should I expect out of it? and does it have a decent amount of heat rejection because we live in the desert.

um, I think I would run far, far, far away from that guy. And I wouldnt assume that a company thats mastered post it notes has the best film.

There are a lot of places you can buy film from.

Valuetint.com

enprodistributing.com

Buytint.com

solarcontrolfilms.com

thats just scratching the surface.
