Here are a few pics of a CX I am rebuilding for a client. Cutter was owned by another tint/car audio shop some years ago. They sold both plotters to my client, one in perfect condition,this one not so much.

Here it is with the lower end gutted out.

Here is what pretty much runs the whole machine. Together there about $1500.00. I am replacing the power unit, then we will see if the main board has issues.

This is just an end shot with the user board. carriage motor and cable.

Just thought I would share and let you see what these machines run off of incase you havnt ever had to work on one.

Isn't it scary how small of a device it takes to do all of that processing?? Kinda like the fact that the typical cell phone these days has more computing power than the systems they used to send men to the moon.

I know. Its crazy to think that. there isnt to much stuff to these 4K$ machines.
