Guest skeeter Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Guy calls me up as I'm packing up for 600 sq. ft. job that'll take all day for me my 2 other coworkers to do. Wants his Impala done today. No auto installers in shop today - which is bad cause we got lots of calls today. Says he'll call around even though his only other experience was with my shop 4 years ago and it still looks great. Goes to the compucut guy carrying 3M and gets it done for $185. When I come back in he's already called and come by my shop boo hooing about the job. I have not seen it yet but it must have really sucked cause the guy gave his $ back to him. He now wants a redo.
TintWizard Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I alwaystell a guy...do you want it done RIGHT or RIGHT NOW I had a similar story, when I came back from my trip, guy had his RX8 done by someone else, now he wants it redone, he couldn't wait the 2 days I told him it would take for me to get to it

No can do I say..He says Now or Never. I say whatever, it ain't happening today. Comes in yesterday, what a shame, I filled his spot. The look on his face when I reminded him of the now or never statement...Priceless.
