you put it in the hinge part of the car door and that pad part rests against the "ding-dong" button. It allows you to not to have to turn the key on while tinting and still not hear the door ajar ding dong

that thing presses the door plunger switch down while you have the car door open. basicly it stops the car from "DING DING DING" while you have the door open and the ignition on.

all a nigga has to do is tint the driver door first then shut it, you can keep the other doors open and no dinging after you shut the driver door.
