Alright, I have a shop in the Atlanta area wanting to charge me $280 for my Mazda 6. This is for a fully-legal tint job (35%) done with Formula One Premier tint. I saw this guy's work and it blew me away. The film came up all the way to the edge of the window glass, film was not sticking to the dot matrix (I don't have one on my car anyway), and it generally just looked like a great film. He's offering a lifetime warranty on the film and the labor.

Just wanted to see what you guys think.. Thanks.

Sounds good to me. The premier series is the top of the line film from Formula one. They have a great warranty program and if the installer is the shizznit then go with it. You get what you pay for.

Yeah, some guys on audiworld.com got a group buy together. They are claiming that he's the best in the area and definitely worth the extra cash over the $139 tint jobs. I just wanted to see if that was a pretty "standard" rate for some top-of-the-line film.

I'm 99% sure I'll be calling tomorrow to set up my appointment. Thanks.

You'll be happier than with the cheap job, trust me. $280 is about one month heating bill up here. Think about it, it's not that much money for the effort involved. How long does a $200 detail job last? That's right.......about 3 months. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Sounds like the price is right. If the install is clean and to your satisfaction, then you should definitely get your car tinted at that shop. It is great that you were able to see their work on other vehicles. Let us know how it looks and performs after you get it done.
