I have two

1-learn how to spell correctly (prices have been DRIVEN down)

2-keep your prices high. I'm the highest in my area, and I just had the best year I've ever had in my business. they'll still come to you and you can make more money and do less work.

RAISE your price by 50$, and do good work, you'll get a reputation for being the shop of presitige. You'll work on higher end cars, instead of rice boy civics and you won't have to do as many.

you'll find that once your rep for good work gets around you will be fine. Stay firm on your prices!! :DD

....read Selling for Dummies by Tom Hopkins

It is a great book :DD ! What makes a customer buy from you may or may not always be price. What you have to do is try to take price out of the equation! Don't be sucked in to being compared to other shops with a customer either, never confirm or deny their prices or their work :DD! It takes guts and a lot of practice.
