Mr paladin Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 when someone brings you 2 cars at the same time do you give them a discount for 2 cars? if I am slow I will knock off like $10 per car if they bring me 2 but if I am really busy like in july or aug I won't.
Guest thetintshop Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I once had a guy that had 9 cars he wanted done. I knocked $15 off each one. when I had them all done, his wife decided she wanted her daily driver done. she said "well since this is the 10th one, it should be free." needless to say, he paid full price plus $10 extra for that one. some people just don't use their heads. if the dumb b***h would have thought about it, she would have realized by me knocking $15 off each one, hers WAS FREE. since that happened, I charge full price for everything, no matter how many they bring me.
Guest cdm Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 only if they ask we don't usually come forward and offer it unless it is a lot of cars by the same owner/company. but if they ask, they usually get it.
oldtinter Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I don't...I must have heard that line a hundred times, "I have 3 buddies blah, blah, blah"...never happens. I take care of good customers with things like free redos for a scratch or something, but never if they ask for it.
Devil with bad attitude Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I don't...I must have heard that line a hundred times, "I have 3 buddies blah, blah, blah"...never happens. Same here. Total crap just so they can get theirs done a bit cheaper. Devil
Guest mushroomhead Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 1 car = $50 profit 2 car = 50-15 =35 profit so you pay fifteen dollars to do twice the work

Guest thetintshop Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 1 car = $50 profit2 car = 50-15 =35 profit so you pay fifteen dollars to do twice the work this was like 8 years ago. my business had only been open for a couple months. and like I said, I don't do this anymore. no matter how many they bring me.
Guest Sprinter Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 first ones full price then 10 bucks off the second!
Guest Blade Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 5 bucks off it usually all I'll do...on the second one, not the 1st.
