What are winders???? :woowoo I am assuming you are referring to rollup windows. If so, it is easiest to remove the door panels so you have easy access below the door trims. If there is felt around the window frame, tape it up with masking tape. Clean the window inside and out. Spray a light coat of water on the outside of the glass. Position the film so the bottom edge is about 1/2" below the trim. Cut the sides about 1/8" wider than the glass. Roll the window down about 2" and cut the top edge by freehand or slide the Olfa blade across it. Round off all the corners and you are ready to go. Good luck.

Thanks Litespeeds ,At present I am installing the way you explain, unfortunately I don't do winders (rolups) often. The company I used to work for had two guys working sides and myself doing rear and front screens.I have done quite a good number of rollups better than some guys who has been installing cars for 10yearsand more.I will take your adviceon some cars strippig of pannels should make it much easier.

this is the wrong time to be looking for work, due to the "off season" when most of us either take long vacations or struggle to get work. maybe try back in the late spring when it picks up again and most shops have more work than they can handle, or talk to your film rep(s) to see if they know of anyone looking for help in the USA. Best states for possible jobs are CA, AZ, NV, CO, TX, FL (basically any hot climate with a lot of sun).

however it would take a very *nice* shop owner to bring you in and train you more extensively since most fear you'd just take the knowledge and open your own operation in competition.

good luck. the skilz come with practice and if you can do back windows, the rollups should be easy. maybe try some different films to get a better feel for shrinking other flavors.
