I just saw on the news that Uhaul will not let anyone with a Ford Explorer tow any of their trailers! They wont say exactly why but it has something to do with all of the pending lawsuits vs. Ford! :thumb

My '00 has 70,000 miles on it, never had one problem. Just replaced the brakes for the first time the weekend before Christmas. I tow a trailor with it, no problems.

This is my second Explorer, first one was a '91.

This Expolorer replaces a '97 POS Surburban. That thing was a Friday night special. Rebuilt the rear end six times, and the tranny once. Never hooked a trilor to it. When I got rid of it, it had 77,000 miles on it.

Guess I am a lucky one.
