So I was in my office vectorizing some graphics so we could print them on some T-'s when the boss man comes over the intercom and tells me I have a customer up front... Ok I walk up front and the boss says" he says he has a bubble in his window" I immediately say Ok lets go check it out... before I get to walking towards the door the customer says are you the one who tinted my truck... I said yes sir, then he said Boy If I had not been in such a hurry when I picked this thing up I would have beat your ass He then went on to talk about how dirty I left it. I proceeded to his vehicle and there is a giant bubble right in the middle... very odd place for one it actually looked like it was water under there, but it has been like 3 weeks. So I come back in and ask him when he wants to get it redone and he states very rudely that he is here now... he went on to say some other things, but I don't remember what made me say : Sir you don't have to be a dick about it... about that time I realized the boss was still next to me and we had another customer in there. this guy really is a dick and I was nothing but polite and nice to him... He then said I dont have to stand here and listen to this %&$# out of some punk dont f***ing worry about it, I'll take it somewhere else and I said... I dont have to stand here and listen to this either... and I walked back into my office.

I don't recall leaving anyones vehicle in a mess, I do tend to leave soap scum on the outside of the vehicle, simply because I would hate to wipe that %&$# off with a paper towel and some dirt scratch up the sides of brand new vehicles. I'm very paranoid of scratching vehicles(any tips on a safe way to clean off the paint on a vehicle without washing it?... I just dont have the time to wash everyvehicle I tint)... I always clean the windows inside and out and the insides are always wiped clean... .I do my best to always be polite and courteous to the customers even when they are dicks and ass clowns... or just plain retarded, but I guess this guy was just too much.

rant over

Couldn't agree more with Drummer69. Some people can't be satisfied. He came in there loaded for bear and he was determined to shoot someone (metaphorically speaking) and you were in his sights. Shrug it off and keep doing the best work you can. You'll satisfy 95% of your customers that way. The other 5% can go find someone else to irritate.

we dont wipe em donw unless they are pretty close to clean already. I just use a damp paper towel to moisten it up, then hit it with quick detailer and a microfiber cloth. the minute a customer complains say "the reason we dont wipe the vehicle down, is that we may scratch the paint considering there is dirt on the car already. we recommend you wait 24 hours then wash it." they normally get this scared face and say "OK"

I would of handled your customer a little different, but I know sometimes u snap. he prolly was a complete tool to get u to say that

I didnt see the boss any after that, He left at 5:00 to go out of town until monday... apparently this guy has spent around 4k with us over the years... (something I didnt know)... would I have handled anything different... No.. I am who I am... I do my best to make everyone happy, but I'm not going to go that low.

I highly doubt the Boss says anything about it, lol I wish I could get a recording of the security tapes that would make a great youtube video "customer service professional calls customer a dick"

We saw his truck at the competitions... Can't believe he was such a dick over a window I would have been more than happy to replace for him (still dont understand that big ass bubble in the middle of the window... lol I would think I would notice something like that in my outside inspection...)

All the Boss cares about is Dollars... bring them in and your good.

I would have been fine up until he made the a$$ kicking comment. then I would have followed up with a swift turn around, gone to get the boss (that's WHY they're the boss) and told the boss to deal with him cuz "I'll b!tch slap him if he threatens me again" will usually get the boss to even pull the truck around :boogie

I dont mess around with impolite customers. after all, that's why I work in the BACK and there's a FRONT counter :thumb
