I do all the time. I also go to customers houses....most of the time they have a better garage then I do.

Next question would be; you buy templates, do it on a plotter or free cut??

I am in the process of setting up my garage at home for PPF and autos for film and graphics.

I do all my work out of my garage or customers garages :nope

PPF is easier, because you don't require quite as much lighting as tint. I just bulk everything, makes it so much easier to get a perfect fit. I've tried a couple patterns in the past, but then your trying to line up this point, and then stretching it a lot to line up this one, etc etc, and you still have 1/8" gap all the way around. I either cut it right to the edge or wrap it, depending on what kind of piece it is.

Sounds good... What film you use.. is some easier than others.(. I would think..).

I personally use SolarGards Clearshield. its NOT like the other PPFs in that you must must must have a heater if you want to learn how to install it, you can't just stretch it into place. However, once you get the hang of it, it tacks up extremely easy, is very compressive, and hardly has an orange peel. I tried venture reg and ulta, 3m, and the avery stuff under several different names and liked clearshield the best.
