windshield protection film

If it is the same stuff I am thinking about, Madico distributor tried to sell us some but it didn't go over well. It takes two people ,from what I can tell, to install it and it is noticeable on a windshield. When they were showing us a demo of it they wouldn't pull back the film to show us how well the glass fared after hitting it with a small rock. I personally didn't like it and the price wasn't right but there might be other versions out there that are better.

if there was no visible cracking of the glass from the rock then obviously it would be fine. The film wouldn't stop it from cracking if the rock had enough force to do it

If the stuff u r reffering to is applied to the exterior of the glass, that film nomatter what it is Will look like total crap after a/b a month. windshield wipers ruin the film very quickly. The technology and products for that type of install are JUNK dont do it.

Enpro gave us some to try a few years back. We put it on my wifes Tundra. Pulled it off 4 months later. Looked like crap, wipers put small scratches in the film, looked a bit hazey...sucked.

We feared the same type of problems. Enpro tried to sell it to us too. I just didn't see it working out too well.

We've put it on some race cars. Not practical for street applications.

a buddys was selling the %&$# out it in huntington beach. I think he was getting it from braygroup up in nocal. I think the warranty was for 2 years, but he was redoing them in a year. he was getting four to nine hundred for windshields.

he was showing me the pull and snap technique, I used only tint skills I could only do level 3 windshield, the hardest was a 5.

bottom line, I knew it wouldn't last.

its security film on the outside of the windshield.
