oldtinter Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Had a few inches of snow yesterday, so the Porsche Cayenne, and Jag XJR cancelled because they didn't want to take their cars out today. Can't blame them though with all the salt on the roads, and at least they called.

But you're right, a simple courtesy phone call makes all the difference in the world. And Blade.... That's Cooold!!!! We will have a high of around 10 tomorrow, a full 20 degrees warmer than you .
oldtinter Posted January 5, 2004 Author Report Posted January 5, 2004 U also have salt on the roads????? Yes Leo...It melts the ice on the roads. Does the job, but is murd3r on cars. Without salt, this city would come to a complete standstill, so you take the good with the bad. Don't you salt the roads in Riga? Do you use a sand type thing that they use out in the western US? That gravel/sand they use is just as bad, and doesn't work as well as salt IMO....

Only had one call bout tint. Supposed to be up to 32 by wednesday heat wave! Gotta love this Montana weather one place was -56 Send me some sunshine I'll pay shipping.

But it's OK he'll be here tomorrow. Wasn't the weather he cancelled for. I dreaded getting my hands wet, he hadn't removed the film (I trust this guy to get it all off) yet on this little Astro van he wanted redone so he just needed a little more time. Better than calling to say "I decided to just let you take it off."
