Ok so I am going to set up my garage at home for auto tinting –graphics-PPF. So I am thinking of a peel board to make, my garage is not very deep so I am thinking on a portable one so what I am asking is I see sum that are horizontal and others that are vertical.I have always used a vertical one. So can any one that uses a horizontal one tell me why you like using it that that way. Like what are the advantages of the use of a Horizontal peel board?? :lol2

Mine is 65" x 65"...mounted right to the wall....takes up no room at all. I am thinking a portable one will end up taking more space than a mounted one. :lol2

Are you planning on taking the board anywhere or just keeping it in the garage?

Yes I am as I have done a few at other locations so that situation may arise again. Plus I feel that it would be better to have it next to me and the window that I am tinting.

I have always had a wall mounted peel board the last one that I had is the same as the one you see in my POTW post. But now I want a more versatile one that I can move to different locations.

That is part of my problem as I am limited on space.

what if you just picked up a couple framed patio doors, like two, and just leaned them against the wall next to where you were working? That way they would still fit in a full size SUV(as I recall you have a avalanche?)

I have a peel board mounted on a homemade rack. Took some 2x4's and made up one, its aprox 5ft. tall, 4ft. wide. Works great untill you get it caught on a wire ARG!! It is a little top heavy, and my shop floor isnt even. so tuesday it got a little wobbly and fell over broke the glass WHOHOOO. but anyways it works for what I need it to.

Ive got a patio door leaning against the wall at my shop and one 36x72 on the wall at my dealership. I like the dealership one better. Its horizontal and makes weeding patterns easier, as well as doing ppf. The one at my shop sucks. I need to put it up on the wall, but although its tall, its not very wide.
