How to make windshield look less green and less shiny ?

My windshield ( stock '08 BMW ) looks too greenish white. I wish it was a more "refined" color that better matched the rest of the car which is Jet Black with dark tint on windows.

Problem is good windshield tint like V-Kool is itself aslo greenish so it would only make the windshield look twice as green ?

Is there anything I can do to make the windshield neutral color, lightly tinted ( about 60% ) and not crazy reflective ?

thanks.

Windshield tint is illegal

But if u were to place a film like llumar air80blue, it would help cancel the green out. As far as shiny goes that's unavoidable. The windshield is dual laminated glass which is more reflective than single pane glass.

thanks for the reply but from what I remember about physics I don't understand how blue can cancel out green ? especially bluish green ?

is this based on experience ?

I was thinking it would take something like light pink with a hint of purple in it ?

I mean I don't want it to look blue either ... or purple.

I just want it to look grey.

?

as far as legality I want this tint so light that it doesn't look tinted. something like 70%

Think about this.....if You put something on there that light....how is clear going to cancel out a color? :woowoo

well its "clear" in one sense, but once installed on the glass it looks different. Like how stock windshield glass is ~80% green, so putting an 80% blue on it will kinda shift it towards blue.

my windshield has 70% vkool and it's greenish. I actually like that look haha it's light and not even noticeable.

and here's a picture of the vkool on a cloudy gloomy day...it stands out a lot especially since my car is black and tint was black too.

if you want a color that blends better with the rest of the car you can go with huper optik 60%. it's slightly darker than the 70% vkool but it doesn't look green or purple or blue.

I had the 60% huper optik on my windshielf but later changed to vkool since vkool blocked out more heat at 70%
