IMHO, I used to be a sunguard dealer, I used the maxpro XP, Now since switching to johnson films, I wont even touch Sunguard. After seeing some of the older tint jobs Ive done (3-5years) I dont like sunguard. It strips great though!

why would you want to switch from Global to either of those? You will pay more and IMO get a lesser quality product...

SunGard does not have a film called maxpro XP to my knowledge. I have been using their film for nearly 17 years and I have never heard of maxpro XP.

Im currently using Global and was considering switching to Sungard, but Im not sure which line to go with, smoke or performx?

Both desert smoke and performx are HP (High Performance) films with metal. Either one are good and I have been using the PerformX line all the way back when it used to be named Graphite with very few problems. I like the thickness, shrinkabilty and the look of the film. My customers seem to like it as well as it has been all I have offered for the past 14 years and the majority of my business is repeat business.

Nevermind about which sungard line to use. I've decided to switch to Sun Tek b/c I heard NOTHING but good about it.

suntek's films are solid, especially carbon line :lol
