paint protection concerns..What would you say/do?

Okay here lately we have been getting a lot calls regarding paint protection film...the callers aren't asking about durablity, warranty, or price...the questions are "Can you see it?" I have lost 8 jobs this month so far with the "I don't want it because I can see the line" people...any advice on what to do? The product can literally sell itself on every other question they ask, except the can you see it questions....

I am surprized that ppl would rather have their cars chipped up and tore up than have a line show on their front end, that honestly imo you can't see unless you are really looking for it... :bingo I have decided that I am just weird...and everyone must be normal, because no one makes any sense to me anymore...

Sometimes it's hard to reason with unreasonable people.

The facts are that they have 3 options.

1. Do nothing and let their vehicle get chipped.

2. Have an ugly black vinyl bra installed which usually scuffs the paint.

3. Install PPF and accept the fact that it may not be perfect, but it's the best of any option.

Doesn't that leave room to upsell to a full hood install instead of partial? I don't install ppf but it seems that would be the way to go.

The full hood sounds great, and have tried, that is where price becomes an issue....

So they dont wanna pay the price for a full hood, yet dont want to see a line? Talk about a cant win situation.. :thumb

that is why I am frustrated, we have lost over $2000 in profit so far, and I don't see a solution to it...I find it so weird that ppl are chosing to let their cars get ate up because the don't wanna see a line...we are not just talking about the hood line either..they don't wanna see one anywhere....and 3 years ago when we started this we nvr had so many ppl so|\|4L about this stuff...

are you asking them if they have seen the product PROFESSIONALLY installed? Are you telling the that they CAN see a line or that "If they look hard enough they will see it"?
