Stainless ONLY!!! Im my opinion carbon ones are a waste of money and might even cost you more in the end, They scratch glass easier and do not cut as well, as for cost, I don't pay much attn to the cost just buy them cause I need em and don't worry about the expense... :shock

Sorry I really dont know how much I pay??? Seems like it is around $15 for 50, but I could be wrong??? (BTW) Olfa brand for me too... :shock

generic stainless and olfa. I destroy blades so olfas do get expensive. only use them when I need to. otherwise its the generic stuff from a local auto store.

$15 for 50 blades is expensive? :shock can't be more than replacing a $3270 back glass in a 300M. when you've been tinting longer, you'll get it.

I've tinted long enough, thanks for the remark. if you do a frameless and just trim at an angle around the window, you will grind the blade and effectively destroy it.

and I also use my blades to cut tape and whatever else not (vs looking for the scissors), so in a way I abuse the blades pretty bad.
