Man I can see I have a lot of reading to do. seems to be a lot of good info on here. im not gonna claim tinting is easy for me, but I figure if I have done 2 cars and tore the tint off of both without throwing anything I must be a lot more patient than I thought. I cussed a few times when doing the back windows on both but never gave up. had to pull tint off my first car a week later cause the lady needed her car back and it took me about as long to pull it and clean it as it did installing it, boy did I learn something that day. getting glue off of a back window that has defrost lines is no easy chore. I almost thought about calling a glass shop and haveing them order me a new piece of glass for it,LOL. its a big learning experience, so thats why im here to learn the tips and tricks of this trade. a friend of mine is needing a tinter for his stereo shop. he says it helps his business and asked if I wanted to try and I said sure. well after I done my first car we talked more about it and asked if I would wanna go to school to become a better tinter. I said sure lets look into it and see what we can find. I found one that wanted like 1500 dollars for a one week class. I kinda shocked me at first and then I thought about it, thats not bad. get pretty good at it and youll make your money back. plus my friend said hell split the cost with me as long as I dont leave 6 months after taking the class. I said cool ill leave in 7 months,LOL.

my question is does any one know of a tinting school in or around kansas. someone said theres one in K.C. Kansas or K.C. Missouri but thats all they knew. I dug around on the internet and couldnt find anything on it.

hopefully stan will read this cause im curious about his videos and how in depth they are cause if I cant find a school close thats my next option, thanks guys.

hey guys and gals. well I worked with a guy that crazytinter hooked me up with for 2 days. he says he was kind of impressed with what I knew with only having really done 2 or 3 cars before. learned a few tricks. the biggest thing he told me was I need to work on my cleaning technique. if I get that down a little better he says I will do great. I made a few mistakes. was shrinking on a back glass and was almost done and I hit a finger wrong. yea a nice crease,LOL!!! I think I was nervous but I guess thats to be expected. spent about 5 hours on my last day tinting a dodge caliber. kind of a sweet car to do except the back window, has a back glass wiper on it. kind of a pain to get around.well thanks to all and I hope to excell at this work. later.
