Just done my first car in carbon 18. its is a lot better than the other stuff I was using, it feels quite a thick film aswell. here are some pics of the car I did, the customer was more than pleased. - pics are crap though, they are off my phone, I'll try and get some beter ones up.

I use the same film and love it. never had a problem whatsoever. I like that car also. I think its bs that they dont sell all the vehicles that they make, where they make it atleast. ford made in america, but why cant I have this car in america thats made by ford. GAY

Been using Solar Gard Supreme for ages and got quite used to it, however I had a sample of SunTek and tried it on a Peugot 206 the other day. Got a good rear screen shrink first time with soap and with only a tiny lift and pull on one corner. Seemed to have far more shrink than the SG which I usually have to lift and pull quite a bit on the bottom corners of a 206.

also seemed to tack well to the dot matrix.

Liked it for that, but when wet shrinking the side windows I noticed ghost markings left in the film where all the fingers had been shrunk, never had that on SG.

Yep I was a supreme user, I trained on that and was use to it also, but now love the carbon, the shrinking is SO much easier! I cant say I have noticed the ghosting on the side screens, as I normally wet shrink the sides, will have to inspect the next one I do?

"Ghosting"?? on a dyed film? Not sure what you call ghosting, but I don't see how it could happen on a straight dyed film. Ghosting is the extreme accumulation of metal when you shrink it.

I have noticed it looks like gohsting but it's the rest of the film gets hazy rite after install except where I shrank fingers. Should clear up quickly though.... :thumb

sounds like adhesive smudges to me. If thats the case, they dry out.
