Is my rear windscreen REALLY midnight?

I got my car tinted yesterday. I asked for midnight on the rear windscreen and light smoke on the sides. I live in the UK.

I just don't believe that the rear screen is midnight. See picture below. Even without strong sunshine, I can see whatever is placed on the rear parcel shelf from outside.

What do you guys think?

I'm not quite sure of your guys terminology of "midnight"?

I would say that film is around an 18-20% :evilgrin

Looking at that photo you can see clearly through the passenger door that you wanted tinted in a light shade whilst looking through the backglass. I would hazzard a guess that back glass looks like 28% ish. But films can look different in all kinds of light and angles

Hi.

I asked for light smoke on the sides which is 35% and midnight on the rear screen which is supposed to be 15%.

Ifyou can see what is on the rear parcelshelf thats not a 15% film, where are you in the UK? You could always get a 2nd opinon from a guy on here?

I'm in West London. A second opinion would be great before I go back to the tinting shop.

Well, even at 5am today with no strong sunlight, I could see straight through the rear screen and see the front dash and seats and dashboard quite clearly. I had midnight on a car before and it definitely didn't allow that.

Looks correct to me. On a sunny day I have no problem seeing the deck through 20% or 5% for that matter. :lol2

Super hard to tell but 20% doesn't seem that dark to me so I can't imagine 15% being all that much darker. Doesn't look like 5% to me for sure but you said it wasn't supposed to be. It's super hard to tell from the pictures.
