I have a customer who thinks his film is taking too long to dry and has decided not to pay. I have explained it varies by the film type and placement on the window I.e. shade vs. sun side. He thinks it should have been dry instantly. It's been 2 weeks and he's convinced there's something wrong. Is there any information anywhere that I can present to him to explain how why some dry faster than others and give him some realistic expectations?

With my invoice, I provide a care sheet. On that care sheet it states, a full cure can take up to 60 days. Do not clean for 60 days. Also I wright the date expected to be fully cured. But usually 3 weeks is full cure.

Send him to the IWFA site. They have dry time there. :thumb:lol:lol6

Usually the warranty cards have dry times on the back....

Indeed, the manufacturer's warranty should explain drying. Tell him to pay or there will be finance charges and you will report them to collections... Granted you have a signed contract.

The film manufacturer may have info on the warranty form or elsewhere that talks about drying time. It will look more believable if your customer sees something from the manufacturer.
