Okay, any insights or suggestions would be super appreciated, couple problems.

1- after applying film to roll up glass, the dark portion of the film on one edge had come off and was all bunch under the film making it appear like chunks of hairs with tiny light gaps. (very little amount but still noticeable)

This roll is about half done and this has not happened up to this point. I switched to a newer roll and did not get this problem....could it be the cutting method or.......?

2- same tint job, once tint applied, from the inside you can see strange marks in the tint and actually feel them. One set appears like little dots all in a row for about 3 inches. The othes appear like random scratches but they are not, they seem like crimps in the film finish. I did not drop the roll but I keep it lying on its side in the original box, lying on top of the original plastic wrapping the roll came in. When I got home I inspected the box and noticed that the original plastic wrapping the roll was on top of had an edge where I split it open that was doted and thought maybe the plastic caused these defects..Is that possible?

Does anyone keep their film in the box or is that a no-no?

Perhaps you could elaborate on that. I put a post recently looking for information on this brand of tint. I'm curious to hear all you know about it...

Actually the guy who taught me how to tint. He is a distributer for it.

I'm still curious as to who has information about it and how it compares to more popular brands.

That's what the prob is...it doesn't compare to popular brands. I have tried this film on a couple of cars and after about 3 months they came back peeling off the edges and had faded around 12%. In my opinion pay a little more and you'll be better off. Try calling some other manufactures and request some samples to judge for yourself.

see you on the darkside.

Well, thats good information thank you. Think I will shop around and see what I can dig up. I'll start with Llumar and SunTek I think.

And hey, my mother always told me that if I crossed my eyes they would stay that way so I stopped. Too bad you didnt tell ur cat that. Even the flys are makin fun...
