How long did it take you? I got my first one without an issue but the second one I could not do one piece and both rear windshields were out of the car :thumb

Justin loves to avoid those cars.... the last one that came here for an estimate...Justin told him not to tint it! No edges to hide the film behind, old brittle plastic.....not a walk in the park for sure.

A (very SMALL) bead of Ultra Black RTV works wonders on the edge, there are many ways but thats what I use! Some may think thats a hacks way out, but IMO it looks good if done correctly. :thumb

I own 3 Porsche 944's. One is a 1988 which I started off using as a driving event/track car and eventually was planning on turning it into a 944 Spec race car. Plans changed and I ended up buying a 1983 944 for a lot cheaper with many parts needed to be a race car. Also bought a 1984 944 as a parts car for $950 so in case I need an engine, tranny or body part due to racing. :lol

I have tinted my 1988 944 and tried to do it in one piece but failed so I ended up 2 piecing it with a couple of relief cuts. I haven't tinted my race car yet but will be doing so shortly. Maybe I should have Mr. P. do the job for me. :thumb Will just do it in 2 pieces because it isn't worth my time to try doing it in one since I am not getting paid for it. :lol6

I have to say the back glass of a 944 is probably one of the hardest windows to tint. Another would be the 911 targa window. Hope you got a pretty penny for doing the job Mr. P. :spit

I quoted it high so I wouldn't get it but he went for it and I got it anyway :thumb we have done 2 in the last few months but we didn't get it in one piece either, to be honest I don't know of anyone who has ever done it in one piece and personally do not think it can be done :lol

:lol Judging on what I just read, I dodged a bullet. I quoted a guy $X amount, glad he didn't get it tinted. I would have been kicking myself in the azz :thumb
