is there ever a reason to use the low setting on the heat gun?

never did. high all the time. the heat gun that is...im not that kind of tinter.

If you work with ceramic films, you might use the low setting so it doesn't overheat the film and cause excessive ghosting.

We will switch between low and high on more difficult shrinks... sometimes shrinking slower seems to allow the film to shrink more and more evenly (IMO)....

but for most back glass it's cranked to inferno and go! :gasp

shrink low with ceramic film and with a crazy back window thats 'bout it....
