I have been a loyal sungard customer for over 15 years. Since they have shut down/ changed ownership I have been buying Suntek for the most part. I like the product and have no issues with it but, it seems that they are one of those CANT DO companies. I will be taking my business to where they know my name and dont treat me like I am some new guy in the window tinting industry.

Call um and tell them how you feel. Might get a new customer rep. :thumb I have never had a problem but I guess it's who you talk to. Call the main office and get Jennifer's number (director of north America sales) and see if she can help you. :lol2

Pfft.. I've called.

The first time I just let it go.. I told them and didn't make a big deal. But this last time I was like - wft?!?

If they short each roll a couple feet, it adds up.

Since I generally order per job... if I need 22 feet, I'll order a 1/4 box. Then when I'm 2 feet short....

And I take into account extra.. not exact sizes. So I know it's not something on my end.

Fortunately, I haven't been at a job and been short enough that I couldn't complete a job. But I wouldn't be surprised if full boxes were short too... I mean, really.. would you even notice if a box only had 96 feet in it???

just call them and tell them thanks for letting this not be such a hard decision to say.."you just lost a film customer..and oh yea..I have a huge job I was going to use you on...now im not".. :thumb

That’s too bad, there are some great people there but a few bad apples………. You know how that goes! I would still call Jennifer and tell her about it. See if see cares, she might blow you off or she might make sure you are taken care of. At least a higher up in the company has a chance to do right. We all know that employees can just NOT CARE and hurt our business, same deal with larger companies. I tell ya what, I will be calling her in the next few days and I will mention the way you feel you have been treated. What service center did you buy out of living in Northeast Alabama?

Short rolls suck! Even if the 100 foot is there and you can't use the last 4-5 foot you are screwed! I like the way Global puts 110 foot in every roll! I sell 25 and 50 foot rolls of auto film and it's hard especially with the 50 foot to get it just right. I try to add a little extra and then use the rest of the film in my retail shop but in larger places where they sell both ends of a roll that has been cut in half ................ like I say it's hard to get BOTH right.
