and he was using the pull and lift methond on Global film. I have always used the soap method and it has worked fine. I recently tried some Global QDP using the pull and lift and the film does not stick to the window as I am heating it like the guy in the video. How does he get the film to just lay down and stick to the window while he heats it. It looks as it he is able to pull it firmly while he lifts. When I tried lifting the tint came right off the window. What am I doing wrong? I am using Irish Spring Soap.

:gasp Ever saw the video where the tint was already pre-shrunk for back glass ?? :gasp

So what you were watching was all marketing, the heat gun was on cool air instead.

And for some reason most believe the film applicator was super great?

You will get it right in your time not to worry, just don't give up. :thumb

Yeah I usually shrink the whole piece of tint and smoothing only a few times with my hand before I take my hard card to it. Comes out good that way . Just wanted to try the new method.

What method did he use? Wet? Soap? Powder? How long did he let the stuff dry on back glass before he puts tint on there to shrink?

He puts nothing on the back glass, cleans it, , throws the film up there, anchors, shrinks, cleans, sticks :rollin
