I have (2) 106" x 48". the width is the 106" I just installed (2) 37" wides by using the opposite window with water underneath and when you pull the liner the film pulls away from the glass . would having someone hold the top be better?

On something like that, I'd reverse roll sideways if I was alone, if not alone I'd have one guy at each end holding the piece tight and pulling the liner down and off and walking it up to the prepped pane.

okay, I will get an extra set of hands as it 9' wide. but you can really reverse roll this stuff?

yes you can, reverse rolling works on everything, just sometimes it is good to roll it on to something to be able to unroll it

I just did some hpr films wich I rolled on the extending handle of some sort (I'll get the pics tomorrow)

It makes it easy to peel it off since it has a hard center

sometimes I hinge it with masking tape in place, and do half at a time... another installer with us, uses a 4 x 8 folding table,, lays it on top etch down and peels it...or we use a drop cloth on floor... and peel..

The best way is with an extra set of hands. I might even consider just having the extra peel it as I stood on a ladder, walk it down the ladder with a pair of hands on each end and stick it. No prob :thumb

If the two windows are identical you could use one (cleaned) as the peeler and try to handle it solo... That is if you weren't comfortable trying the reverse roll. I think it would be manageable if you could fold it in half :thumb

I use the window next to me.

The liner on dusted crystal is THICK as hell.

When you have the film on the window just start removing liner at one corner , stop ,spray the peeled section and continue to peel and spray, the film will lay on the glass.Take your time , It took me a few tries to get the feel for it.

I would not reverse roll it..its vinyl,to stetchy. :shoot1 and with that liner it will be difficult.

I hang alot of this and 90% of the time I use the window next to me to hold the film while I peel.
