carolinatinter Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 so I made a stencil for this club. it was meant to be painted white, then applied, then the whole floor painted black. well they painted it black first so then they asked me to cut all the letters out of the backing/masking for a stencil. I told them it would get too fragile but they wanted it done so I did it. well, it was too fragile and didnt work. now im either needing to find something like a thin plastic the plotter can cut and be used as a stencil or im going to just cut another thing in vinyl but weed out the letters and after they paint it and pull up the vinyl, they can re touch up the black around it because the vinyl pulled it up on a test piece I did. (I think they used crappy paint) anyone know of where I could get this magical plastic?
Guest darkdan Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 8 mil S&S? Then after it's weeded....cut through the liner too. I wouldn't "stick" it down though.
tint_detective Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 It's called stencil film, you know where to go...
