A pain in the arse

Not sure if I'll get any replies..but what would you charge for this job that requires much patience 35 windows in all..but many small :..wants auto film..it's single pane and likes the dark look. I think he'll freak if I charge what I want..the sizes are nothing..its the time required to do a good job

I do alot of trailers, I use auto film and charge by the SQ'

If you use a 40" roll it works out roughly 95 sq ft. It'd be trying for 7 a sq.

My patience level for small windows is limited anymore..I have to travel 45 minutes each way as well, not to mention my cell/business phone won't work where it is ..I'm thinking more DIY or $1000

I got $550 for the last one I did. Not sure how many windows there were or the sizes, but it was with SB35, mostly scraps, and I did it in about 2 hours.

Campers, Houseboats, or RV's suck!!! I don't price 'em out like most other jobs. I make 'em pull the screens, drapes etc. (I aint responsible for 'em) and then I generally charge around what you are thinking for a 35' RV. The sliding windows are a pain, there is generally a buttload of dirt in the channels, you gotta be a contortionist to get to alot of the glass, and there are some SEVERE trapeziods on a lot of them. I price them high. Whenever I tried to price them closer to where the Custy wanted to be, I have kicked myself in the arse EVERYTIME! Alot of times I kick myself for not getting more than I got at my higher price. They are like remodeling a house. Ya never know what you're getting into until you're into it.
