my first tint job and having problems

ok so this is my first tint I put on and it looks decent but there is about 4-5 small lines in the film, it looks like creases. im going to take it off anyway because I want something darker. why did this happen?

also this was without a heat gun tomorrow im going to install it again but I only have a hair dryer would this work?

im starting a car audio install shop and would like to offer tint also so if you have any tips or tricks for installing tint plz let me know

Yes a hair dryer will work to a certain extent, but you better off with a good heat gun :angel

ok I did my 2nd tint, the good news is its alot better then the first job. but the bad news is I f-ed it up when I was cutting, I cut it a hair to short and me being a perfectionist I had to rip it out and go for try 3 tomorrow.

but the film was perfect not one line or bubble.

I got a question should the film be cut up to the the edge of the gasket or can I leave about a 1/4 inch and just tuck it under the gasket?

also on the corners the film doesnt seem to stick very well, im guessing this is a spot I missed when I was cleaning the window.

im using gila brand tint for now, I hear its garbage but for $10 at autozone its good to start off with

every car is different you are going to have to learn on where to over compinsate and where not to and how long it takes time and many different cars to learn on if you want you can come work with me for two weeks for a fee I will school ya on all the basics then the rest is on you im in li ny short ride from bk

Definitely get some professional schooling. There are a few film distributors that offer the week long class for around $500 which is worth it and and you cant pass up an offer for a professional tinter like CoG to offer this for free.
