Vinyl is 1 of many ways tinters 'deal with ' back windows with the large dot matrix patch at the top. Glue, Paint, Vinyl, Drop Dry, etc.... All designed to help film stick to that area on select cars.

Is it better than other methods ?? We typically glue the matrix but have a few instances where the glue didn't work very well so we vinyl'd. There are pro's and con's to all methods... do a search on the board and you will turn up a ton of info on it.
