UK Pricing - By Type or by car?

Most firms I see seem to advertise based on model (Hatch, Saloon etc)

Now I do this but state from £.... eg: 3 Dr Hatch From £135

Gives me a little leeway if someone turns up with a Clio/Defender etc

How do you guys prefer to do it - price by the individual car or have a rough idea for a type (Say 3dr hatch) and then work from there?

I have it in my head but have a from and to margin

top of the scale would be a clio for the 3dr hatch (with a beetle blowing through the scale!)

tend to do a deal for return customers or more than one car

And dare I say it if the attitude is a bit worrying from the beginning it goes up the scale :angel

Thats what I figured the most sensible thing to do was - hard sometimes to know which ones are gonna be a pig when you haven't been going very long but it helps having so many models listed on this site.

We always price the cars individually. Defender wuill be priced at twice what say a BWM X5 would be. Its simply because its going to take twice as long to do so if I can do two X5's in the same time I can do one Defender its got to be priced higher. If the customer aint happy with that then so be it, I will just tint two X5's instead.
