Film too Dark

Supposed to be 35% but taps at 30% out of the box, and the glass on the car by itself taps at 75%. Should I take the film back and show them it is too dark, and get them to exchange it ?

It is still a full roll, except for the small piece I cut to check it.

My Wife is after me to tint her windows, but not putting her car on the road with an illegal tint job !

is it just that box or do the others read off also what do there actual specs on the spec card say

Just says 35% Charcoal, on the inside of the core.

on there sample in the book it will give the real voltage if its off I would return it

Put a sample on and then meter it. Tx is net 25% with a 2-3% variance.

I put on a ton of QDP 30 and Suntek HP 30 and it metering on 24.3 to 27

I put a sample on and it metered at 21%, still not within the variance !

Guess I have to buy some 40 or 50%, as her previous car metered at 30%, which was just right for her, good visibility at night, and cutting down a good amount of the sun in the day.

For her, right at legal limit is too dark at night.
