The back rolls ups have about a 1.5in gap when the window is an in. from the bottom. The left side of the window doesn't shift at all just the right....how do you guys approach cutting these?

Cut the side that doesn't move first. Then make a cut on the other side only right at the bottom inch or two. Then wind down the window until you can see the side edge of the glass. Trim this edge along the side of the glass and then cut the top as normal. When you go to your peel board, use a straight edge and join the bottome notch to the part you've already cut out. It should be on an angle (the top half wider than the bottom). Hope this helps :gasp

Step 1: Cut one side

Step 2: Roll down halfway cut top and other side

Step 3: Transfer to peel board and finish cut

Step 4: Rip out gasket, tint, replace, get money, spend money on strippers and whiskey.

note: mark the sides of the window with a marker while the window is rolled up. this will help to line up the film while installing.

I usually cut one side, mark the other side, roll down and cut top edge and then take to the cutting board and cut outside my marks how far it needs to be cut. when installing I make sure my marks are covered that I made on the outside to begin with.
