Invoicing and Business Systems

I am looking at updating the computer at the shop and the inventory and invoicing system.

I am looking at some of the quickbooks software,

Would any of you guys or gals like to make some reccomendations.

I've got Quickbooks Pro 2005 awesome system, keeps track of all your inventory, you can input all your invoices, and it loads it into your inventory, then as you sell it (6' for fron doors, 7' for back doors an 1/4's 5' for back glass) it subtracts it from your inventory

It also keeps track of all your banking/ taxes etc etc

I'm not sure of the updates they have made since the 2005 edetion, but they would only be steps up.

You can also get QB POS (point of sale) and that will handle all of your CC/cash/check sales for you, and (not 100% positive) but I believe it ties into your QB program.

You will not be disapointed with it.

We use the 2007 version and love it. It is very user friendly and will handle all of your needs. I would recommend giving it a shot.

QB 2007 pro is what we are using.... and Harold is correct... you can track you inventory, do your invoicing create estimates, create purchase orders, and create P & L reports etc.... highly recommended ...

thanks dude, Harold found some stuff for me on the internet. Didnt you tell me at one time thats how you process your cc's also
