So I tinted a 1999 Audi a4 today with carbon 5 today and when I got to the back window I just couldnt do it. I tried it twice but it didnt work, heres what I did....

1. clean outside

2. spray

3. Put on film and squeeged it down as much as I could.

4. I then started to heat shrink it and it all went well untill I got to the right and left side of it.....both times I did it I creased it and it almost seamed as if the film melted on the edges and when I went to put it on the inside it just wouldnt stick.

Any Help??

It just seems like there are such big "fingers" on the right and left sides that it wont shrink.....on the top and bottom it looked awesome and shrunk great just couldn't get the sides

You shrink factory edges on the top and bottom only. Side fingers should not exist during shrinking :beer

Don't know what you mean by that....when I put the film on the outside there shouldn't be fingers on the sides?

so once I lay the film on the glass I should be able to push all the fingers to the top and bottom then heat shrink form there.....when I watched someone do it before before they just wetted the center of the window and heat shrank from the very middle of the window out....does that seem correct?
